Watermelon Basil Cocktail Design for Grey Goose Essences

During the summer of 2021, I got the chance to work with Bacardi and Grey Goose. I was a part of a pin series and designed a pin garnish for Grey Goose’s watermelon basil cocktail that they sold at the Edge in New York City. A couple of months later, I was recognized at Bacardi’s national meeting for being one of the best partnerships they have had in the past year. For the business aspect of my work, I have learned how to be flexible and open to any potential outcomes. This is important to me because I want the rest of my journey in life to be fun and charismatic.

Do we choose who we become? Or
Do we just become?
Am I scared of growing older? No,
Because growing is a process
Started on the soft sand foundation Allowing for the cracks to form
On the concrete foundation I poured When I was young
It was unknown
That the sand needed to be compacted hammered down to prevent shifting guess that’s experience teaching.
We start as an egg
We all start as two different living organisms We grow into these shapes these shells
We still ask who am I?
As we watch the ones we built a part of our base for Rip their part out
We still ask who am I?
As if our entire meaning of existence exists in a single object.
I could say I am a thing
But I don’t think we are one thing Or even a something
We are a mixture of
Clouds on the horizon shining our moments of transition Letting the colors paint the sky
A complex process
Digesting and shaping the shell that creates our consciousness That every day the environment shapes our reactions
